Frequently asked questions

Should I choose JPG or PNG?

Choose PNG for documents with text, line art or when you need a lossless image. Choose JPG for photo-heavy pages or when a smaller file size matters more than perfect detail.

What resolution should I use?

72 DPI is fine for screen previews, 150 DPI for most web and office use, and 300 DPI for printing. Higher DPI produces larger images and takes longer.

Can I convert only some pages?

Yes. Enter the pages you want, for example 1-3, 7, in the Pages field. Leave it empty to convert the whole document.

Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?

No. Pages are rendered by PDF.js inside your browser and the images are created on your device.
